SAP Business One: Scope
SAP Business One is SAP's solution for small and medium-sized enterprises, technically and functionally independent of SAP S/4HANA. From around 200 employees and more complex group structures, SAP recommends moving to S/4HANA.
SAP Business One: AI features

- Per the SAP 2026 roadmap, integration with SAP's generative AI Hub to create custom queries and reports. Still rolling out; confirm availability with the vendor before use.
SAP Business One is developed by SAP SE and is the group’s entry-level ERP for smaller companies. It runs on either Microsoft SQL Server or the SAP HANA in-memory database and covers finance, purchasing, sales, inventory and light manufacturing. In Switzerland it is implemented through a network of certified SAP partners.
