Odoo: Scope
Odoo is an open-core ERP: the Community Edition is free and open source, while the Enterprise Edition with additional modules is paid. Odoo is therefore not a pure open-source system but must be labelled open core. It is also NOT tailored to the Swiss market but adapted to Swiss requirements such as payroll and VAT through localisations and partners.
Odoo is developed by Odoo S.A. in Belgium and comes in an open-source community edition and a paid enterprise edition.
